DESIGN THINKING IN ACTION

LAUSANNE LEARNING INSTITUTE, SOUTH WEST 2017, ARLINGTON, TX

I presented in a fish-bowl format, where I taught my lesson to fourteen 4th grade students while teachers watched. We then spend 30 minutes debriefing and discussing how the lesson went and I answered questions. Students engaged in a hands-on design challenge, to redesign homework in the 4th grade. Working with their partner, they were asked to empathize, plan, ideate, and design a prototype to help solve their partners problem.
